It’s summer on Alaska’s North Slope which means warmer temps, green tundra and herds of caribou moving about. When it’s sunny out up here, everyone has a smile on their face.

Another reason to smile is that it’s looking like Shell will finally get to conduct their offshore exploratory drilling program this summer. It’s not a go yet, but this is as close as they’ve gotten in recent years. A search for “Shell drilling Alaska” will bring up numerous articles if you’d like to learn more.
